If you are a person who is full of anger, jealousy and resentment, not knowing how you have become so proficient, even artful, in these areas, Ruiz’s book will help you to understand. You may be surprised to learn it is the result of the endless and tireless practice of your creative mind. Ruiz reminds all of us how the mind never stops creating and will produce whatever we feed it, so why not feed it love. He tells us what love truly is and what it is not-love has no obligations and expectations, and is always kind, respectful and unconditional. To feed this nourishing food to the mind is a matter of awareness, of being the faithful witness at the door of the mind, watching what comes in and what goes out. It is soon evident what goes out is the same as what comes in, therefore, to become a master of love only love must be allowed in. This good may seem out of reach for most of us, however, we are told even the effort is worthwhile and will improve our relation with everyone we know.
